Pink (nor red for that matter) has never been one of my favorite colors. I have had a few pink pieces in my closet over the years, but it’s not a color that I really like to wear and I don’t usually find myself drawn to it in home decor. Even as a little girl, I chose lavender over pink as the color for my room. Now that I have two little girls, we have plenty of pink in the house, but their room decor doesn’t actually have a lick of pink in it either.
So over the last few weeks I’ve been surprised to find myself strangely drawn to pink. It all started when I took down the Christmas decorations and put out these bright pink Limonium and my favorite rocking bird salt and pepper shakers as my dining table centerpiece. Believe it or not, I picked these up at the supermarket and they dried beautifully.
The next thing I knew I was seeing pink everywhere.
Like this pink dinnerware. I think they would look great with my current table decor. Don’t you?
Maybe I could sneak some pink into the girls’ room with this adorable night light.
I’m still trying to figure out how to convince my husband to let me put this bold blush wallcovering in our guest bath.
And finally, this is totally not home decor, but I’m so, so, so in love with these pink eye glasses.
Lot’s of pink. Just in time for Valentine’s Day.
